  	Sincere regret was expressed on all sides on Thursday when word of the death of Mr. Edward G. Morris was received. The deceased was a prominent public figure and one of the districts best known and most respected residents. He was a man of very deep understanding, a kindly sympathetic man who was called upon all too frequently, unfortunately , to exercise these qualities.
